Fit mask (or respirator) tests are often required to be completed during onboarding. These tests must be updated annually.

What kind of mask do I need to be fitted for?

Every facility carries different types of respirators, so requirements will vary based on the facility you will be working at. Keep in mind that even if you have an up-to-date fit test, you may be required to complete a new one with a different mask that will be used by your facility. You can view the specific details for your facility within your Onboarding Checklist. You can also locate a blank fit mask form there.

What if I have failed fit mask tests in the past?

If you have failed a fit test in the past, we need documentation of the failed fit test within 1 year. If you do not have the documentation we will need to send you in for another fit mask test. Each facility has different requirements for being fit-tested on-site.
