Onboarding with Trusted is designed to be simple and straightforward. Here’s how it works—and what you can expect every step of the way!
Your Compliance Coordinator will be your go-to person.
While your Advocate helped you land your travel assignment, your Compliance Coordinator is your go-to expert for everything needed to successfully onboard. They’ll work closely with you to ensure you’re fully compliant and ready to start on time.
Your Compliance Coordinator will reach out via Inbox to introduce themselves, share important details, send any additional health orders, and set expectations for the weeks ahead. They’re here to answer any questions you may have, so be sure your app notifications are turned on and that you’re regularly checking Inbox for any time-sensitive messages from your Care Team.
Importance of Compliance Deadline
❗ Your compliance deadline is the date by which all required documents and information must be submitted to the facility—this is not the same as your start date, which is your first working day on contract.
By the compliance deadline, all facility documents and modules must be completed, and results for items like health orders, fingerprints, and background checks must be received so we can submit your complete file.
Between your compliance deadline and start date, some facilities may request updates or additional information. Please continue to check your Inbox and remain available for any time-sensitive follow-ups during this period.
Tips for a Smooth Onboarding Experience
Upload documents as soon as possible:
Please upload any documents you have right away so we can begin reviewing and prioritizing—especially for items that may take time to process (some can take days or even weeks for results).
Review the details carefully:
Each facility has unique requirements—whether it’s a vaccine versus a titer, a specific signature, or a document detail. Make sure you're uploading exactly what’s requested on your dashboard. If you don’t have a required item, let us know right away.
Partner with your Compliance Coordinator:
They’re here to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. Be sure to communicate early and often to stay on track.
The sooner, the better:
Although we’re working toward a compliance deadline, submitting your documents early gives us more time to review, follow up, and make any needed corrections—ensuring you're cleared on time for your assignment.
Everything you need to complete is on your Onboarding Checklist
Once your Compliance Coordinator sets up your Onboarding Checklist, you can access it by logging into your Trusted Health dashboard—either on your computer or through the Trusted Health mobile app!
Your Compliance Coordinator will order your drug screen for you.
We’ll take care of ordering your drug screen and help coordinate everything you need to meet these requirements. Just let us know the zip code that works best for you, and we’ll handle the rest! We’ll also cover the cost upfront and send you all the details you need to complete the process.
You'll receive your assignment and orientation information when you complete onboarding.
Once you’ve completed your onboarding tasks and the facility has reviewed your file and granted clearance, we’ll begin waiting for your reporting instructions. These instructions are typically provided by the facility during the week leading up to your start date and include important first-day details.
It’s not uncommon to receive reporting instructions as late as the Friday before your start date, so please keep an eye on your Inbox for any time-sensitive updates.
Our team will be reaching out separately to kick off your employment needs.
During onboarding, you’ll receive instructions to set up direct deposit and enroll in (or opt out of) benefits. It’s important to complete these steps before your first day to avoid any payroll processing delays or retroactive deductions.
