With Trusted, onboarding for your new assignment should feel simple. Here's how it works and what you can expect!

Your Compliance Coordinator will be your go-to person.

While your Nurse Advocate helped you land your travel assignment, your Compliance Coordinator is an expert in everything you need to successfully onboard for your assignment. They will partner with you to ensure you’re compliant to get started on time. Your Compliance Coordinator will reach out to you through Inbox to introduce themselves, provide details, send additional health orders, and set expectations for the following weeks.is here to answer any questions you might have, and you can reach them using Inbox. Please be sure your notifications for the app are on and that you check in for time-sensitive messages from your Care Team.


Importance of Compliance Deadline

Your compliance deadline is a date before your start date when all documents and information for your compliance file are due to be submitted to the facility (this date is not the same as a start date which is the first day you will be working on your contract). All facility documents/modules must be completed, and health orders, fingerprints, background checks, etc. must result by this date so we can send a completed file to the facility. Between the compliance deadline and your start date, some facilities will request changes or have additional needs. Please still be available and on the lookout for anything time-sensitive during this time!

PRO TIPS TO SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS

Upload documents ASAP: Please do this ASAP so we can review them and plan and prioritize accordingly - especially for items that can take time to get results for (days to weeks!)

Review the description & details carefully: Each facility has specific requirements -- whether it’s a vaccine v. a titer or a signature or detail on certain documents. Be sure you’re uploading exactly what they need for each document on your dashboard, or let us know ASAP if you don’t have it.

Partner with your Compliance Coordinator: They’re here to make this as seamless (and painless!) as possible -- be sure to communicate early and often.

The sooner, the better: While we’re working towards a compliance deadline to ensure the facility has time to review and clear you for your assignment, the sooner we can get things done, the more time we have to make any corrections.

Once your Compliance Coordinator sets up your Onboarding Checklist, you can login to your Trusted Health dashboard, both on your computer or through the Trusted Health mobile app!


Your Compliance Coordinator will order your drug screen for you.

We’ll take care of ordering your drug screen and help facilitate anything you’ll need to meet these requirements. Just let us know which zip code works best for you, and we'll take care of the rest! We'll also pay for these orders upfront and send you all the information you need for them.


You'll receive your assignment and orientation information when you complete onboarding.

Once you’ve finished your onboarding tasks and the facility has reviewed your file for compliance and gives clearance or the good to go, we then wait for reporting instructions. These instructions are not received until we have clearance. Reporting instructions are usually received from the facility the week leading up to your start date and contain first-day information. It is not unusual to receive reporting instructions the Friday before your start.


Our Team will be reaching out separately to kick off your employment needs.

During onboarding, you'll receive information to set up a direct deposit and enroll (or opt out of) benefits. It's important to prioritize these prior to day 1 of your assignment to avoid any payroll processing delays or catch-up deductions.
