Trusted is requiring all Trusted Nurses to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to be eligible for future employment. Exceptions for medical or religious reasons will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis with appropriate supporting documentation. While medical or religious declinations may be accepted by Trusted in order to request interviews, acceptance of the declination for an assignment will ultimately be at the discretion of the facility.

We’ve made this decision in the interest of safety for all rooted in our mission of helping people everywhere get care. This policy also aligns with the increasing number of our partner healthcare facilities mandating COVID-19 vaccination.

You will be required to upload your vaccination or waiver documentation to the Health Documents section of your Credentials Manager prior to starting a new contract. Scroll down to Health Documents, click + 'Add Health Document', and select 'COVID Vaccine'. These documents will be audited by the Trusted compliance team prior to the start of your assignment. Failure to upload proper and complete documentation in a timely manner may result in contract termination.

Not yet vaccinated? No problem! As long as you are fully vaccinated prior to an assignment start date, you may continue to apply for jobs. Please plan to schedule vaccination appointments ASAP, as contracts will be terminated for non-compliance with this policy.

Have a medical or religious exemption? Exemptions for medical or religious reasons will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis with appropriate supporting documentation. While medical or religious declinations may be accepted by Trusted in order to request interviews, acceptance of the declination for an assignment will ultimately be at the discretion of the facility. Please note that not all facilities may accept exemptions.

If you require a religious exemption for a bona fide religious belief, observance or practice, or a medical exemption for an evidence-based medical contraindication (which will require written confirmation from a licensed healthcare provider,) your Compliance Coordinator will send over a declination form to complete during onboarding. Because many facilities require nurses to complete specific forms for their facility, we are unable to send these in advance.

Will I be required to get the booster? Whether or not boosters are required will be at the discretion of the facility and vendor. If you are already working on an assignment and there is an update to your facility's booster requirement, our team will reach out to let you know.
If you have already gotten your booster or are scheduled to do so, please upload this to your credentials on your profile: https://app.trustedhealth.com/credentials

What if my facility requires a booster, but I'm not yet eligible to receive one? If you are not eligible to receive the booster just yet, then you can wait until you are. It is expected that you will receive the booster once eligible if you're currently working in a state or facility where the booster has been required.
The timeline for states who have a vaccine mandate is:

  • 2 months after J&J

  • 5 months after Pfizer + Moderna

  • If you recently had COVID, you are eligible once you leave isolation (10 days.)

Keep in mind that if your facility/vendor has stricter requirements than what is listed above, we will defer to their policy and you will be notified of this by your Compliance Coordinator.
