You are entitled to 10 minute rest breaks according to the logic below (where “x” represents the number of hours in your workday).

  • 3.5 < x ≤ 6: Entitled to one 10 min rest break

  • 6 < x ≤ 10: Entitled to two 10 min rest breaks

  • 10 < x ≤ 14: Entitled to three 10 min rest breaks

Although rest breaks must be off-duty, they are counted within your hours worked for that day.
