The Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact Agreement (eNLC) allows any nurse who resides in one of the participating states to practice nursing in any of the other states that form the compact state alliance. In other words, you do not need to obtain a new license in any of the other participating states in order to practice there!

In order to work in a compact state, you must have:

  • Proof of residence in a compact state

  • A current, active nursing license in said state.

Check out Trusted's awesome Compact Licensure Guide for more information on obtaining a compact license and to view a complete list of participating states.
