What does it mean when a Match goes on hold?

If a Match is marked as on hold this means the facility is not accepting any new submissions.

This does not mean the Match is officially filled or closed, and the Match may open back up if the facility would like to see more submissions.

Why would a facility put a job on hold?

  1. The facility has received an influx of applications and wants to review the ones they have before accepting any more. If you have been submitted to the job, then this could mean that you are still in the pool of candidates!

  2. The facility has sent out an offer to another nurse and is waiting to hear back.

  3. The facility has paused hiring because they are deciding if they still need to fill the position.

All of our Matches are updated in real-time. If the Match opens back up for more submissions, this will be reflected on your Matches Dashboard immediately!
