Can I make special requests when I apply to a Match?

When you apply to a Match, we'll ask you for any special requests or time-off requests associated with the timeline of the position.

In the application, you will be prompted to fill out your specific application details and requests under the details section.

Select Yes under the special requests section and enter your requests.

โ—You cannot adjust or change your special requests after you apply to the Match. These are just requests and it is ultimately up to the hiring manager to decide!

Keep in mind, scheduling is up to the hiring manager and the unit's needs. Sometimes they are flexible and accommodating to travelers' schedules, and other times they look to their travelers to be flexible. Scheduling requests are also things you can mention during the phone interview process with the hiring manager. For auto offers, quick start, or crisis jobs, we are not able to make those scheduling requests as there is usually no interview and the facility needs the nurse to be flexible.
