What should I know about the new contract policies?

You asked, and we heard! Thanks to the invaluable feedback of Trusted Clinicians like yourself, we are thrilled to share the latest update to some of our internal policies regarding benefits and compensation!

What policies are changing?

Bonuses! You read that right! We will now be able to support sign-on, shift, and completion bonuses. Every Clinician on an assignment with Trusted is eligible to receive a bonus at the complete and sole discretion of Trusted Health.

If your facility is offering a bonus, we will let you know right away! We know choosing to pick up an extra shift or work a day your unit needs you means a lot and we want to reward you for that time. This means that we have removed the extra time bonus we historically used in lieu of not being able to support bonuses.

Holiday Pay! To better align with the days and hours your facility determines eligible for holiday pay, we removed our general Trusted holiday policy. Holidays and hours eligible for holiday pay will be listed in your contract.

Cell Phone Reimbursement! You will automatically receive an additional $5 a week for your cell phone reimbursement.

Sick Time! Your accrued sick time will increase from being capped at 72 hours to being capped at 80 hours. We also have loosened our documentation requirements for when you need to apply your sick time to your weekly timecard submission. We will no longer require documentation to apply your sick time unless permitted under applicable federal, state, and local law.

Call Back! Call-back rates can be applied to hours worked immediately after your contracted shift, if “on-call” hours are present. Hours worked directly before your shift started and/or directly after your shift has ended will be paid at the call-back rate when your hours reflect that you are on-call. The call-back rate applies for all hours worked in response to a request to return to the facility but is NOT trued up to a minimum of 2 hours.

In addition to that, if your “in” and “out” punches indicate 30 mins of time elapsed, while on-call and you are called in to work, you will be paid at the call-back rate and will be trued up to a minimum of 2 hours.

We hope you are as stoked as we are for these changes, and please let us know if you have further questions!
