Open enrollment begins November 1.
From November 1 - 15, you can elect and/or make changes to your 2024 benefits. After November 15, you will not be able to elect or make changes to your benefits until next year’s Open Enrollment session unless you experience a qualifying life event.
What’s Changing?
We are excited to announce that Trusted Health is moving its medical, dental, and vision plan carrier from Aetna to Anthem. Anthem’s commitment to whole-person health aligns with our commitment to drive wellness and makes us confident this change will positively impact all our members. You will still have the choice between the same 4 medical plans (including 1 HDHP and 3 PPOs), dental, and vision plans.
How does this impact you?
Before making this decision, Trusted Health wanted to ensure that this carrier change would have minimal impact on you and your dependents. Our analysis confirmed that based on current member medical plan usage:
97% of the current providers used are in-network with Anthem – as compared to 96% with Aetna
99% of claims would be in-network with Anthem – as compared to 97% with Aetna
This makes us confident that there will be little disruption to those currently enrolled in an Aetna medical plan.
We encourage you to discuss this change with your current providers to confirm they are in the Anthem network. You can utilize Anthem’s “Find Care” search tool to locate in-network providers in your area. We’ve attached further instructions to help you navigate your search in this article.
