One thing that makes Trusted special is that we don't have a traditional recruiter model. Instead, we provide a clinician-led Care Team that does not work off of commission. Your Care Team members have a unique combination of clinical and industry expertise. This helps us empower you to take control of your job search!

On your Care team you'll work with:

--A Nurse Advocate, an RN who helps you secure an assignment and helps you with questions you have while working

--A Compliance Coordinator, who assists with onboarding and ongoing compliance

--Care Coordinators, who work with you at all stages of your travel journey to answer your questions as quickly as possible.

What is a Care Coordinator?

You can think of a Care Coordinator as being like a triage nurse in an Emergency Department. Every new message or phone call that comes to Trusted is first reviewed by a Care Coordinator. The Care Coordinator will then assess the situation and may escalate the concern to a more specialized member of the Care Team. Like a triage nurse, Care Coordinators have a keen sense of judgment, are able to communicate effectively, and multi-task well in order to quickly and confidently direct nurses to the best resource for each situation.

Care Coordinators can answer questions about pretty much anything here at Trusted! But we most commonly work with you when you have questions about your Trusted Profile, job search, timekeeping, and pay.

Meet the Care Coordinator Team

Allie

Why Trusted: Ever since I can remember, I’ve had a strong drive to help people, especially in the healthcare field. I come from a small rural community where healthcare resources are pretty limited. Being part of the solution to the healthcare staffing challenges while helping dedicated candidates like you land their dream jobs really fires me up. Trusted’s mission is to help everyone get care, and I can honestly say we strive for that goal every single day. We want the best for everyone that comes in contact with us!

My favorite things: I could eat Mexican food every day, I love the ocean, driving with the windows down, traveling and trying new food, my family and fur baby, and immersing myself in nature!

Fun fact: I played D1 volleyball for Indiana University, and I'm from the same town as Larry Bird!

My career: Prior to Trusted, I was the Admissions Coordinator for a skilled nursing facility. I am still super passionate about our elderly population, as I am an old soul myself. I’ll always remember my time there for many reasons, but mostly how proud I was to work alongside clinicians like yourselves!

Why Trusted: The work environment here at Trusted is very modern. We are constantly adapting to the changing times. This job makes me feel fulfilled, as my main goal here is to help people everywhere get care. This is so important to me, as right before getting the opportunity to work for Trusted, my father passed away from not having access to reliable, modern healthcare in our small rural town. After being hired on at Trusted, I went from feeling helpless and broken, to feeling empowered that I could play a part in ensuring this situation doesn’t happen to others. Clinicians can rest assured everyone on the Trusted Care team ACTUALLY cares about them as people, and wants the best for them. This is more than just a job to me; It’s a mission to ensure everyone has access to healthcare.

My favorite things: My main hobbies are going to music festivals/shows, hiking on new trails in the Pacific Northwest, and watching cooking/survival shows (even though I am not great at cooking OR surviving in the wild)! I enjoy a good painting session (whether that is on paper or via make-up on my face) as it is therapeutic for me. Lastly, there’s nothing I love more than a huge bowl of chili with all the toppings (and cornbread, of course), being enjoyed in my living room with my husband while watching Alone after a long day.

Fun facts: I like to collect little trinkets/figurines/etc. from all the places I have been/traveled to. I have multiple shelves that LOOK like complete chaos hanging up in my living room, but every single item holds its own story & adventure. I love decorating my house in this way, as it makes me feel truly at home.

Why Trusted: I love my Care Coordinator family and the support they show internally and externally. There is no better group anyone could work with, anywhere.

My favorite things: Blade might be my Favorite Movie, followed by Moonrise Kingdom/Fantastic Mr.Fox.

Fun fact: I like making Loved Ones laugh, watching the snow block out the sun and sprinting through cities at night.

Anything else you’d like to share about yourself, your background, interests, or your career: One day, I'd love to have a career in entertainment, or Video Game Design - that really would be something, huh?

Jill

Why Trusted: I love working for Trusted because it gives me the opportunity to help our clinicians find positions to give the best care possible. I love the medical field and have always worked within healthcare so being able to be on the backside of that and being a point of contact to our frontline clinicians brings me so much joy.

My favorite things: I love the pretzel pizza from Little Caesar’s. I have traveled all over the South, MidWest and New England areas but love the MidWest the most. I’m a die hard The Office and Parks and Rec fan (I can recite more lines than I’d like to admit!), and I bleed green and white for MSU football.

Fun facts: I’m really good at multitasking. I may look like I’m not paying attention, but I can reiterate what you say verbatim (my husband hates this trick). My proudest moments are any time one of my four kids learns something new or masters something for the first time. My favorite celebrities are John Krasinski, Kristen Bell, and Ryan Reynolds. They all are amazing at what they do and have given back to the community which speaks so much about their characters.

My family: I’m a military spouse of 10 years and see a different side of the world due to this since we move every 2-3 years. We are constantly on the go, are never able to really plan for life, and have to rebuild a village every time we move. It’s stressful but worth the experience!

Why Trusted: I love working for Trusted because I also want to help everyone get the care they need. When my grandmother was in her last days at the hospital, it was a Trusted travel nurse who cared for her. Sadly, we still have many facilities understaffed throughout the nation! Additionally, I truly value transparency and I love representing a company that shares that same value. Lastly, Trusted truly values our clinician’s feedback as well as the feedback from our internal members and strives to make any changes that will improve our clinician’s experience.

My favorite things: I was born and raised in Puerto Rico so my favorite food has to be our traditional rice and beans with fried plantains. I am also a coffee lover! More specifically espressos! My favorite drink to order at Starbucks right now has to be their Iced Shaken espresso with sugar free vanilla and oat milk.

Fun facts: Spanish is my native language and I can also speak, read, and understand Portuguese pretty well. I am a military spouse. I have moved over 10 times across the country in the last 12 years. We are currently stationed in Southern California. However, my heart will forever be on the East Coast!

My career: I have a degree in Public Health with an emphasis on child and maternal health. I am also a lactation specialist. However, after working with clinicians I’m considering switching careers to a more clinical role. I’m thinking of going back to school and becoming an occupational therapist.

Monica

Why Trusted: Helping people has always been a huge passion of mine. I want to leave this world knowing that I made a difference in making it better! I truly believe I am doing this at Trusted. Trusted is a company that truly cares for its clinicians, not just about the bottom line. Helping clinicians on a day to day basis makes me enjoy what I do and in turn, helps people everywhere get care!

My favorite things: I am a huge football fan (GO CHIEFS) and dog lover. Love allllll the TV shows! You name it, I’ve probably watched it! Adventures in our side by side is my favorite thing to do on the weekends.

Fun facts: My greatest accomplishment is my family! I have the most perfect husband, kiddo, and dog. My husband and I plan to see a football game at every NFL stadium in the country!

My career: I have a degree in Hospitality Management.

Why Trusted: I love working with Trusted because it gives me the chance to help others by assisting clinicians to find assignments and provide them with a support system every step of the way.

My favorite things: Favorite food is even pizza (especially from pizzerias in Italy) or anything sweet. I have two gray cats that follow me everywhere named Mozzarella and Stick. My favorite place that I’ve been to is Okinawa, Japan. I lived there for a couple of years and hopefully I can visit there again one day. Favorite TV shows are The Office and New Girl.

Fun fact: I was born and raised in Italy and Italian is my first language, but I can also speak French. I first came to the US as an exchange student for a year. I love to cook and bake and create birthday cakes for family and friends. I go to the gym and lift weights 5 times a week and go to Krav Maga classes 4 times a week.

My career: I’m a certified pharmacy technician and I worked as a phlebotomist for over two years before starting with Trusted. I occasionally teach Italian and English online to people all over the world.

Jess

Why Trusted: What do you love about working here? I’ve been asked this question a few times, and sometimes, it’s hard to put into words how much I love this company. Here at Trusted we help the most qualified clinicians find their dream travel assignments taking care of patients around the United States. Those patients' families waiting for them to come home is where my true passion is. My job is so much more than just a means of earning a living. It is a source of inspiration, personal growth, and fulfillment. The combination of passionate purpose, supportive environment, continuous learning, meaningful contributions, appreciative leadership, and work-life balance create the perfect recipe for my love and dedication towards my work!

My favorite things: I absolutely love spending time with my family, a good taco with a cold margarita, going to the ocean, traveling, looking at the stars, listening to music, watching football (GO COWBOYS!!!), and watching basketball (GO WARRIORS!!!).

Fun fact: I’ve never lost a game of UNO!

My career: As a former Air Force member, I still carry their core values in my everyday life: Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence in all we do!
