What you should know about... Outsourcing Garnishments

As of 8/21/23, Trusted Health is outsourcing garnishments to ADP. Partnering with ADP to outsource garnishments will ensure we meet all the federal and state requirements with remitting payments and provide a more direct and efficient service to our employees.


Please note that National Medical Support Notices (NMSN) are separate from Income Withholding Orders and will be handled by our benefits team members.

QUESTIONS REGARDING YOUR GARNISHMENTS...

  • Contact ADP for your garnishment questions after the above-referenced date since ADP will not have information regarding your garnishment payments and court orders before the date above.

  • Contact your Human Resource Team for questions regarding payments and court orders received before the above-referenced date.

    WHEN YOUR PAYMENTS WILL BE REMITTED...

  • Child Support payments will be sent electronically to the state disbursement units based on the disbursement schedule already established with the state.

  • Refer to the Child Support Disbursement Schedule below to know when payments are sent to each state. Each state may take 1-3 days to process the payments and send payment to the custodial parent. We recommend you share this information with the custodial parent because there could be a change to when they receive payments today.

  • All other payment types will be remitted by check to the payees on check date.

DISBURSEMENT SCHEDULE FOR CHILD SUPPORT PAYMENTS

ADP remits payments electronically to the State’s Disbursement Unit. The schedule below will help you know when ADP will remit payments to each state after your payday.

Example:
You are paid on Friday, 3/1
ADP will remit payment on Friday, 3/1 for any state with a disbursement schedule of 0, 1 or 2 ADP will remit payment on Monday, 3/4 for any state with a disbursement schedule of 3 ADP will remit payment on Tuesday, 3/5 for any state with a disbursement schedule of 4 ADP will remit payment on Wednesday, 3/6 for any state with a disbursement schedule of 5
