The auto-apply program allows us to create applications on your behalf for brand-new jobs that fit your preferences and qualifications, without you ever having to lift a finger.

Being the first applicant to a job can nearly double your chances of getting an offer, but in today’s competitive market, it can be challenging to truly be the first in line for a job without this support.

We know that the market has been tight lately, which can be overwhelming and disheartening. Auto-apply takes the stress off you and can transform the job search process into a passive, almost fully hands-off experience. With auto-apply, you can sit back and watch the applications roll in, withdraw from the applications you are not interested in, and get offers for the ones you are!

How do I opt-in to Auto-Apply?

Auto-apply is only available to clinicians who have a completed profile, so head over to your profile to ensure that you are good to go. Once your profile is 100% complete and reviewed, simply click Turn On Auto-Apply from your Profile, Matches, or Applications tabs to get started!

To get Auto-Apply set up, you are required to review a brief summary of the Auto-Apply offering before opting in to Auto-Apply to ensure that you truly understand the feature. After this, you will be asked to provide us with your Match preferences. These include location, specialty, shift, contract length, start date and minimum weekly pay. We will use these preferences to decide which jobs to create Auto-Applications for on your behalf. After this, you will also need to enter any time off requests that you have or confirm that you have no time off requests. Click Turn On Auto-Apply once you are ready to save! Note that we recommend that you provide time off requests for the upcoming 4 months.

How does Auto-Apply work?

Once you have opted in to auto-apply, we will send you a text for confirmation we will begin automatically creating applications for you for jobs that you appear qualified for and that fit your Match preferences.

Every time Trusted creates an application for you, we will immediately send you an SMS and an email that includes all the details of the job so you can easily decide if you’re interested. We will also let you know when you’ve been submitted for the position, as usual. At any point, you will be able to withdraw from the job if you decide it isn’t a good match for you. You can keep track of all your active applications and their statuses on the Applications tab. Here, all applications created through auto-apply will have a blue tag to make it easy to keep track of these applications.

Once you’re part of auto-apply, we will send you an SMS after 1 week of using the feature to check in on how your job search is going.

After this, we will prompt you to opt back into the program every 2 weeks to ensure that you’re still interested (and to avoid spamming you with awesome opportunities). This also allows us to ensure we have your most up-to-date time off requests so we can make sure to share this information with facilities you are auto-applied to. Once you have an outstanding offer or are starting a new placement, we will stop applying to jobs on your behalf.

I don’t like any of the jobs that I am being auto-applied to. How do I get auto-applied to jobs that I’m more interested in?

We use the Match preferences you provide to find jobs for you, so we recommend reviewing these preferences and updating them to reflect what you’re truly looking for in an assignment. Note that the more specific your preferences, the less frequently you will be auto-applied to jobs, but these jobs could be a better fit for you.

I’m opted in to Auto-Apply but I’m not being auto-applied to any jobs. What’s the deal?

There are two possible reasons for this. First, your Match preferences may be too specific for the current jobs in the market, which could limit the number of jobs that align with your criteria for us to apply to on your behalf. Second, your experience, credentials, etc may need to be strengthened. We only create auto-applications for Clinicians who are fairly qualified for the jobs that match their preferences. Common reasons for being considered unqualified are below:

  • Missing 1-2 manager references (2+ is best!)

  • Lacking specific specialty experience

  • Missing uploads of certifications, vaccinations, identification, etc.

Also, if you have an open offer or are at the beginning of a new placement with Trusted, we will no longer auto-apply to jobs on your behalf.

How do I opt out of auto-apply?

Simply go to your Profile, Matches, or Applications tabs, click Manage Auto-Apply and switch the auto-apply to Off. We will then send you an SMS to confirm you have opted out of auto-apply.

You can opt back into auto-apply at any point, as long as your profile is 100% complete and reviewed.
