According to the Trusted Handbook, travelers are expected to float within their scope of practice.

Facilities often depend on travelers' flexibility to meet staffing needs across various units. However, if you are ever assigned patients outside of your scope of experience or placed in a situation where you feel unsafe, we strongly encourage you to advocate for yourself by speaking with your charge nurse and manager β€” and notify us as soon as possible so we can support you.
