While many of our clinicians enjoy the adventure and experience of a travel contract, many others would like the opportunity to pick up contracts closer to home.

Some facilities may allow local travelers to take an assignment at their facility, but others have strict mileage requirements.

If a facility has a mileage requirement, it will be listed on the Match details page under the contract details section. The mileage requirement is the radius rule.

If there is no mileage requirement listed and you want to apply as a local traveler, ensure to state that in the special requests section of your application.

Keep in mind that taking a local contract means that the pay and contract terms are different than a travel contract.
