My facility has pre-employment modules, how do I log the time?

Pre-Employment Modules are assigned by the facility and expected to be completed prior to the start of your employment, or assignment. They are typically required to be completed before the facility is able to clear you as compliance-ready and able to report for your assignment.

❗ Please note that hours spent completing Relias exams, CEUs, and certification classes are not reimbursable as pre-employment modules!


My facility has pre-employment modules, how do I log the time?

❗ You can expect to see your assignment in the Trusted mobile app and the pre-employment module hour section appear during your first work week, but it can be visible in the app up to seven (7) days prior to your start date. Please submit these hours as soon as possible upon completing them to avoid any delays in payroll processing. Please do not document pre-employment hours on your timecard as orientation hours. If your facility has pre-employment modules, the time spent completing them is processed differently and they are not the same. If you have any issues or questions, reach out to your Care Team via Inbox.

  1. Open the Trusted mobile app and navigate to your current assignment

  2. Click view time

  3. Scroll down to the bottom and locate the pre-employment module hours section. Tap the field to enter the total number of hours and click submit hours

  4. You'll receive a pop-up asking you to confirm your entry. If you are all set, click looks good to submit your pre-employment module hours.


How many hours will I get paid for?

The expected number of hours to complete modules varies by facility. If there are circumstances that have resulted in exceeding the expected time, please let us know! It is the expectation of all Trusted Clinicians that time is reported accurately and honestly. Please note that these hours don’t count towards overtime (OT), Double Time (DT), On-Call, Call-Back, or Regular Rate of Pay.


How much will I get paid for pre-employment modules?

While there is an expected number of hours to complete the modules, you will be paid for the number of hours it takes you to complete the modules at the Non-Clinical Rate indicated on your offer and listed in your contract. Please note that these hours don’t count towards Overtime (OT), Double Time (DT), On-Call, Call-Back, or Regular Rate of Pay.


What if the modules take me longer than expected?

If there are circumstances that have resulted in exceeding the expected time, please let us know! It is the expectation of all Trusted Nurses and Allied Health Professionals that time is reported accurately and honestly.


When do I have to complete the modules?

Pre-Employment Modules are assigned by the facility and expected to be completed prior to the start of your employment, or assignment. They are typically required to be completed before the facility is able to clear you as compliance-ready and able to report for your assignment. If there are delays with getting modules completed, that may result in your start date being pushed back. If you anticipate not being able to complete them in a timely manner, please let your Compliance Coordinator know right away!


What should I do if I don't see this section in the app?

Please log out of the Trusted mobile app and log back in using the email address on your Trusted profile. It is also important to double-check that your app is updated to the most recent version. This will refresh your app. If you still can't see this section, please reach out to the Care Team via Inbox to let us know. We can get this fixed for you!


Will pre-employment modules show up on my pay preview?

No, pre-employment modules are processed and paid through a different process than your regular timecard, so they won't show up on your pay preview. But have no fear! Once you submit your pre-employment module hours, they will be paid alongside the next timecard you submit, and the full breakdown will be visible on your pay stub within ADP.


What do I do if I do not see my assignment or the option to add my time?

If you are having issues signing into Trusted's mobile app or locating your assignment in the app, try these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Ensure you have the most up-to-date version of the app, you can update the app by going to your app store and searching for the Trusted mobile app. Here it will give you the option to update it if it is not currently running the most up-to-date version.

  2. Ensure you are signed in with the same email you use for your Trusted account. Do not opt to sign in through your Apple ID or Google account.
