What is Trusted's COVID-19 vaccination policy?

Trusted does not require all clinicians to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to be eligible for future employment.

However, if the facility you are applying to requires vaccination, it will be a mandatory requirement in order to be considered for that assignment.

Some facilities may require clinicians to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, either:

  • To apply for a job, or

  • To start an assignment

In many cases, you are not required to be vaccinated in order to apply, but you will need to complete vaccination during the onboarding process to remain eligible to start your assignment.

Exemptions

Medical and religious exemptions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis with proper supporting documentation.

  • Exemptions may allow you to request interviews, but final acceptance is at the discretion of the facility.

  • If you need an exemption, your Compliance Coordinator will provide the appropriate declination form during onboarding. These forms cannot be shared in advance due to facility-specific requirements.

Uploading Your Documentation

To remain eligible for some assignments, you must upload proof of COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption before starting a new contract.

To upload:

  1. Go to your Credentials tab

  2. Scroll to Health Documents

  3. Click + Add Health Document

  4. Select “COVID Vaccine” and upload the required documentation

All documents will be reviewed by Trusted’s Compliance Team. Incomplete or missing documentation may result in contract termination.

Not Yet Vaccinated?

No problem—facilities that require the COVID-19 vaccine may not require proof until you have received an offer and begin onboarding for your assignment. They may allow you to continue to apply for jobs as long as you are fully vaccinated before your assignment start date. In these cases, be sure to schedule your vaccination as soon as possible.

Booster Requirements

Booster shots may be required, depending on your facility

  • If your facility updates its policy while you are on assignment, Trusted will notify you.

  • Already boosted or have a booster scheduled? Upload documentation to your Credentials locker.

Booster Eligibility Timelines:

  • 2 months after J&J

  • 5 months after Pfizer or Moderna

  • If you recently had COVID, you are eligible once you have completed isolation (typically 10 days)

Please note: If your facility or state has stricter requirements, those policies will take precedence.
