Does Trusted sponsor employment visas?
At this time, Trusted Health is only able to support TN employment visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals. Unfortunately, we are not able to sponsor any other types of employment visas at this time.
What is a TN visa?
The TN nonimmigrant classification permits qualified Canadian and Mexican citizens to seek temporary entry into the United States to engage in business activities at a professional level.
How do I obtain TN support from Trusted?
To obtain TN status, you’ll need a letter of employment verification, which Trusted will provide. We’re happy to assist with this process if you meet the following requirements:
Have at least 1 year of nursing experience
Hold an active nursing license in the state of your assignment
Are willing and able to travel to the border to obtain TN status in a timely manner before your contract start date
How long are TN visas valid?
For the TN visa, Trusted can provide you with an employment verification letter—also known as a letter of support—to accompany your TN visa request. While TN visas can be issued for up to three years from the date of entry, the visa period must align with an approved assignment and confirmed funding.
As such, Trusted can issue a TN letter of support for each contract and any subsequent extensions, as that reflects the timeframe for which we can verify employment and funding. We are not able to provide letters for time beyond the approved contract dates.
