Yes! How you are incentivized for that time will vary depending on your contract.
How does it work if I have extra time in my contract?
We recently made changes to our contract policies, which means if you signed your contract before November 2023 or have extended your contract you might still see extra time listed in your contract or pay previews. The extra time rate on your contract takes the place of other surge or incentive pay.
All of our jobs are built around a set number of contracted hours. If you work more than the set number of contracted hours in a single week, you’ll be eligible for our extra time bonus for each hour worked (excluded is any orientation weeks). This rate is paid in addition to whatever standard rate is applicable for that time.
How does it work if I do NOT have extra time in my contract?
If you do not have extra time included in your contract, that means you are eligible to receive bonuses! Every Clinician on a travel assignment with Trusted is eligible to receive a bonus at the complete and sole discretion of Trusted Health. Specifically, Trusted Health reserves complete and sole discretion to determine whether any bonuses will be paid, and if so, to set any eligibility criteria, the amount of any bonuses (if any), and the timing of bonus payments (if any).
If a job has a sign-on or completion bonus, you will see it and the bonus amount listed on the Match detail page. This way you always know ahead of time what incentives the facility is offering!
If your facility is offering a shift bonus, they will reach out to us directly with all of the information. Once this happens, your Care Team will let you know right away! If you have not heard from us and you think you will be eligible for a shift bonus, reach out to your manager directly to ensure they notify us!
❗ A shift bonus could look something like this, "If you work Saturday this week, in addition to your contracted shifts, you are eligible for a $100 shift bonus." In this situation, again your Care Team will notify you of this shift bonus, and if eligible this is something we are able to support in order to compensate you for the additional work you took on.
This is not to be confused with one-off situations proposed by your manager. Your manager may say, "We do not have any relief coming on tonight, if you stay an extra 2 hours you will receive 1.5x your rate." In this situation, this is NOT something that we would be able to support. As part of our pay packages and contract policies, we are not able to adjust the rate of specific hours and pay you more than you are contracted for.
