You are eligible to submit any hours that you have worked beginning on day one of your assignment through the last day of your contract.

You will not submit time spent in classes for certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or NIHSS, as they are requirements for employment as a licensed nurse or healthcare professional within your role or specialty. These are not considered hours worked.

However, you can submit the time you spend in mandatory staff meetings as hours worked. If these are mandatory for you to attend, you will be paid for them at your regular rate. Overtime or double time will not apply.

โ— To ensure accurate and timely processing of your submitted timecard, your hours and the hour types need to be clearly documented on your timecard. This means that if your facility uses an electronic timekeeping system that doesn't capture these hours, you will need to submit a signed supplemental paper timecard in addition to the documentation of your electronic timecard.
