How Do Benefits Affect My Compensation?

We believe you deserve the same care and support that you give your patients. That’s why Trusted’s contributions toward your health insurance premiums are completely separate from your compensation package.

Why this matters:

  • Your pay is not reduced or adjusted based on the benefits you choose

  • You won’t be financially penalized if your needs change mid-contract due to a qualifying life event (QLE)

  • We’re committed to offering benefits equitably, not based on usage

Are Benefits Required?

No—benefits are completely optional.

If you choose to waive coverage, you’ll only be able to enroll again:

  • During annual open enrollment, or

  • If you experience a QLE (e.g., marriage, birth of a child, loss of other coverage)

Can I Enroll in Just Some Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision)?

Yes! You can choose to enroll in only medical, only dental, only vision, or any combination.

However, the rules differ slightly:

  • Medical: If you choose not to enroll, you must actively waive coverage in ADP

  • Dental & Vision: No waiver is required. If you don’t enroll, you will not be auto-enrolled

If you waive a benefit during your current contract, you may have the option to opt back in during your next assignment, depending on the gap between contracts.

Enrollment Window

You have 30 days from your contract start date to enroll in or waive benefits.
