How do I know when a reference has been completed? You can view the status of your reference directly from your profile under the reference section.
For each reference, you'll either see the status of pending or completed.
Pending. The reference request has been sent and Trusted is pending a response from your reference. Remember after you sent the request we automatically either text or email the reference a super short questionnaire to fill out on your behalf. The moment it is completed by your reference, a PDF of the reference form is automatically uploaded to your Trusted profile.
Completed. The reference request has been completed and we have received your reference. Or if you opted to upload a previously completed reference form, it will appear as completed since we are not waiting for a response from your reference.
Expired references will still be visible on your profile, but will state that they are expired and list the date that they expired on. References expire when they have been completed more than 24 months ago or were from experience more than 24 months ago.
❗ No matter if you opt to request a reference or upload a previously completed reference form, your Care Team will be reviewing your references when you apply to Matches. To prevent any delays in reviewing your applications, you must ensure your previously completed reference form meets all of the requirements.
